Every Full-scope Partnership project comes with two complimentary cycles of A/B testing. We analyze real visitor data to identify key opportunities and implement changes aimed at increasing your site's conversion rate*.

How it works:
Establish a benchmark
First, we launch your website with its original design and collect real-world visitor data. This data provides us with a clear performance benchmark for measuring the conversion rate of the actions you want your visitors to take. This benchmark can then be used to compare all future improvements against.
Hypothesize, test & optimize
Next, we analyze the data to form a hypothesis for what changes could improve your conversion rate. We implement this new version and test its performance against the benchmark. We then keep the winning design, ensuring every change is a data-proven improvement. If the original works better, we simply revert back.
Your two complimentary cycles of A/B testing can be initiated at any time within 180 days following the official launch of your site.
Each A/B testing cycle is a collaborative process where we agree on specific design changes to improve performance. A cycle includes changes to a maximum of two website sections1 (for projects less than 32 sections, a cycle includes changes to one section only), followed by our technical implementation and relaunch of the updated site.
These cycles go beyond simple text and image updates (which you can do yourself). They are designed for testing more significant changes, such as new page layouts, or altered user flows, that require our professional design and development expertise.
Before beginning a new A/B testing cycle, we require a minimum of 500 new visitor sessions2 to be collected since the last cycle (or initial launch). This ensures our analysis is based on fresh, statistically significant data.
Yes. This service can be purchased separately. It's an ideal next step for Full-scope Partnership clients who have used their two complimentary cycles, or for clients on our Core Design & Development service scope. A custom quote will be provided upon request.
1. We reserve the final right to determine the scope of allowable work for each cycle to ensure fair value and project focus.
2. This session threshold is a general guideline. For businesses with different sales or traffic patterns (e.g., higher-value B2B services), an appropriate, mutually agreed-upon data benchmark for initiating a testing cycle will be established in the project agreement.
* Conversion rates, or any business outcome, are not guaranteed to improve after an A/B testing cycle.
